Shoreline Brewery
Michigan City has a surprisingly good number of places for lunch and we were ready for some quality inside time since it was 10 degrees outside. We decided to try someplace that we hadn’t been to before. Shoreline Brewery is a family owned and operated brewery and restaurant that’s been in business since 2005. They have a great list of in-house beer that always includes at least 12 on tap. They also have specialty drinks, wine and the usual non-alcohol options. The menu is quite large and varied. They call it, “Contemporary American Chow with Globally Inspired Flair”. We weren’t very hungry, so we decided to each have a cup of French onion soup and split a Bavarian style pretzel. The food was great, but we are looking forward to going back to sample more adventurous fare like; Asian Tuna Tataki Sliders, Chicken & Cajun Andouille Sausage Gumbo and Cavatappi Positano. As for the beer, we only tried two, but they were both very good. Ask your server what’s on tap and they will be happy to help you make a selection.
